Dear Giuseppe, I just wanted to wish you a very Merry Xmas and say how sorry I am that I can't make it to Poughkeepsie for your family's party. You guys are the best. You'll probably get my cards belated (as usual). I got your stuff from your sister when I ran into her in Canarsie. You guys were really right around the block, if ya thinkaboutdit. But, anyways, thanks for sending the stuff to me. You know the zip, 11214, so don't be a stranger and mail me when you get back from the Japan trip. My mail follows me and I wish I could've followed you to Nagoya. Take a ton of pics, lemme know all the details, stay outta da Ginza redlight district, and be safe. And when you get a chance, get to a computer and email me or blog it, man. I wanna hear from you. Stay a bachelor and don't you go marrying one of them Japanese geisha girls! Everybody in our circle has wedding-bliss blues. We are the last of the boy scouts, pal. I'm staying single no matter what. What is this thing called love, huh? It does not exist, I tell ya. I still have the Bruno hat which you and Kelly picked out (see above pics) for my birthday. I love it. Thank you for every thing, my friend. Keep writing your poignant poetry, drink a beer (or sake) for me, and take care! Maverick out!
