Ad vitam paramus
Ad vitam paramus
(Poem 341 from the Roman Flanks: Aqueduct Collection IX)
by Maverick.214
break down
show down
round and round,
a mind spins circles around itself;
formation of continuous information.
soft finger tips glide effortlessly across featherweight keys
a tap and a vibration push gentle tsunamis across a still pond
permeating the universe in a subtle act,
a soul settles into a new cocoon by itself;
protection of natural selection.
in a mere glance so much goes by
celestial paintings in the sky splash orange, blue, and vanilla accents
inciting a riot of the imagination by a single wish,
a memory gives life to an undying love by itself;
possession of romantic obsession.
all in all in the ending
nothing matters but the positive notes
erasing painful tragedies of lost ones, derailed trains, auto wrecks, and sinking boats,
a time for the departed to punch their tickets at the end of the line;
reincarnation of a new embarkation.
there is so much going on
everywhere there is spirituality
guiding hearts to a better world here and now,
a sense that all can and will be forgiven in the grand scheme of things;
reaching for universal teaching.
